Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 14, 2026

Hillbilly Samurai LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") owns and operates PostPop. References in this Privacy Policy to "PostPop" refer to the PostPop application, related websites, and related services offered by Hillbilly Samurai LLC (collectively, the "Service").

PostPop is a product and service of Hillbilly Samurai LLC and is not a separate legal entity.

We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we collect, how we use and disclose that information, the choices available to you, and our practices concerning retention and security.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Children Under the Age of 13

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at support@postpop.info.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information from and about users of the Service in several ways:

  • directly from you when you provide information to us;
  • automatically when you interact with the Service; and
  • from service providers or platforms involved in operating the Service, such as application marketplaces and subscription providers.

Information You Provide to Us

Depending on how you use PostPop, information you provide may include:

  • contact information, such as an email address;
  • profile and creative information, such as a brand or creator name, brand description, industry, what you sell or promote, target audience, founded year, content goals, tone and energy, content or production assets, maturity preference, topics to avoid, platform and creating preferences, and other brand or creative details you choose to provide;
  • creative requests and direction, such as Idea Direction inputs and other information you submit when requesting content ideas or using PostPop's AI-powered creative tools;
  • ideas, projects, schedules, selections, saved content, organized materials, and other information you choose to generate, save, organize, schedule, or otherwise manage through the Service;
  • preferences relating to communications or marketing;
  • correspondence and information you provide when contacting support or otherwise communicating with us.

A maturity preference is used to control the creative register and subject matter available during generation. PostPop does not intend to use that preference to infer a user's age, sexual orientation, personal conduct, or other sensitive personal characteristic.

You control the information you choose to include in your profile, creative requests, and other free-form fields.

Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, proprietary, or third-party information that is not necessary to use the Service or that you do not have the right to provide.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve PostPop.

This information may include:

  • account, application, installation, or similar identifiers;
  • device and technical information;
  • Internet Protocol address and network-related information made available through normal Internet communications;
  • application activity and interaction information;
  • generation, save, scheduling, and similar Service activity;
  • subscription status, entitlement information, and related transaction metadata;
  • diagnostic, performance, and error information.

We may use persistent identifiers where reasonably necessary for authentication, subscription management, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, service integrity, or similar operational purposes.

Payment credentials, such as full credit or debit card numbers, are processed by the applicable application marketplace or payment provider rather than directly by PostPop.

Artificial Intelligence Processing

Certain PostPop features use artificial intelligence to generate content ideas and related creative material.

When a user requests an AI-powered feature, information reasonably necessary to fulfill and personalize that request may be transmitted to and processed by third-party artificial intelligence service providers.

Depending on the feature, this may include the user's creative request or Idea Direction and relevant brand, audience, content-goal, platform, tone, maturity preference, creative-preference, topics-to-avoid, or recent-idea context.

PostPop seeks to transmit only information reasonably necessary to provide the requested AI functionality.

You should not place unnecessary sensitive, confidential, proprietary, legally restricted, or third-party personal information into creative requests or profile fields.

Where required by applicable law or platform requirements, PostPop obtains your permission in the app before personal information is shared with a third-party AI service provider.

How We Use Your Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • provide, maintain, and operate PostPop;
  • generate and personalize content ideas and creative recommendations;
  • save, organize, synchronize, and display your content and preferences;
  • administer subscriptions, trials, entitlements, and access to Service features;
  • communicate with you regarding the Service;
  • respond to support requests;
  • maintain Service reliability and performance;
  • diagnose errors and technical problems;
  • protect the Service and its users;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, automated abuse, or other harmful activity;
  • understand how the Service is used and improve its functionality;
  • develop and evaluate features and services;
  • send optional marketing or promotional communications where you have provided consent or where otherwise permitted by law;
  • enforce our agreements and protect our legal rights; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, and other lawful business purposes.

Tracking and Advertising

PostPop does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under applicable California privacy law.

The Service may use technologies such as local storage, cookies, or similar technologies when reasonably necessary for functionality, authentication, preferences, security, or Service operation.

If our advertising or tracking practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out rights required by applicable law.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We may provide information to contractors and service providers that perform functions on our behalf or are necessary to operate PostPop.

These providers may support functions such as:

  • hosting, database, and infrastructure services;
  • authentication and account services;
  • artificial intelligence processing;
  • subscription and payment administration;
  • communications and customer support;
  • diagnostics, security, and technical operations.

We seek to limit information provided to service providers to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable service.

Service providers that receive user information from PostPop are required to handle that information for authorized purposes and to provide protection consistent with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and their obligations to us.

Business Transfers

If Hillbilly Samurai LLC or PostPop is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, information associated with the Service may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you direct or authorize us to do so.

For example, if you choose to export or share content through a device, application, social network, or other third-party service, information you choose to share will be handled by the destination you select according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may be able to review or modify certain profile and preference information directly within PostPop.

You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you by contacting us at support@postpop.info.

PostPop also provides an in-app mechanism for deleting certain data associated with your use of the Service.

Deletion of PostPop data does not necessarily cancel an active subscription or delete information independently maintained by an application marketplace, payment provider, or other third party. Subscriptions should be managed separately through the applicable application marketplace.

Certain information may also be retained after a deletion request where reasonably necessary or permitted by law, including limited information necessary for:

  • security and fraud prevention;
  • abuse prevention and Service integrity;
  • transaction and subscription records;
  • legal or regulatory compliance;
  • dispute resolution;
  • enforcement of agreements or legal rights; or
  • backup and disaster-recovery processes.

Depending on where you reside, applicable law may provide additional rights, which may include rights to access, know, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

Where processing is based on consent, you may have the right to withdraw that consent.

We may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of anyone making a privacy request.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

If applicable law provides a right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request, you may submit an appeal by replying to the decision or emailing support@postpop.info with the subject "Privacy Appeal."

Marketing Communications

Where you have opted in to receive marketing communications, we may send occasional information regarding PostPop, including product updates, features, offers, or related communications.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe method included in the communication or by contacting support@postpop.info.

Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications necessary to operate the Service, such as important account, subscription, support, security, or legal notices.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional privacy rights under applicable California law.

Where applicable, these rights may include the right to request:

  • information about the categories or specific pieces of personal information collected;
  • correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • deletion of certain personal information;
  • information regarding categories of sources, purposes of processing, and categories of third parties to which information is disclosed;
  • portability of certain personal information;
  • opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and
  • limitation of certain uses of sensitive personal information.

As stated above, PostPop does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because we do not currently engage in those activities, a sale- or sharing-specific opt-out mechanism may not be applicable to our current practices.

California residents may exercise applicable privacy rights by contacting support@postpop.info.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising rights provided by applicable privacy law.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain user-requested content, administer subscriptions, protect the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the nature of the information and why it is maintained.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational requirements.

Information contained in backup or disaster-recovery systems may remain for a limited period until those systems are overwritten or otherwise cycled through their normal retention process.

International Processing and Transfers

PostPop and the service providers supporting it may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions.

As a result, information may be processed in a country whose privacy and data-protection laws differ from those of the country in which you reside.

Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures relating to international transfers of personal information.

Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

We also seek to use service providers capable of appropriately protecting the information they process in connection with the Service.

No Internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information processed through the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with or link to applications, platforms, websites, or services operated by third parties.

We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party's privacy policy and terms.

We encourage you to review the privacy practices of third-party services before providing information to them.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, legal requirements, or other operational needs.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Policy.

If required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy will be subject to the updated Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
